- Is the Sand Continent available?
This is a small detail, but I noticed the list of locations in the game mentioned the four home continents from each of the four mystery dungeon games, but not the extra Sand Continent + Sahra Town from Super. Would it be fine to make a character from there? - How does Roar work?
Equally minor: Roar's a move that does something different in Mainline (Forces a flee/swapout) and in PMD (hurls the enemy), but neither of them really quite make sense in an RP scenario. What are some ways the move could behave, in an RP scenario? Does the answer change if it's being used on an NPC or a PC? - Do stats really matter?
Is there any mechanical enforcement to stats and stat boosting moves? I noticed that the combat RP guidelines referenced a hard cap of 999 on speed, but from what I can tell, no one is actually tracking stats and the impact of stat changing moves and various impacts are mostly vibes-based. A dragon-danced pokemon could surely expect to be dealing "more" damage to their opponent, but the actual meaning of that is up to interpretation by GM or between players. Is that a fair analysis? It's fine if it is, I've been in RP environments where that's the case, but I feel like I'm getting a mixed impression. - What are "wild pokemon?"
I noticed a small line mentioning wild pokemon mostly being silent, likely hostile NPCs. What makes them different from settled, sedentary pokemon? Do they recognize each other as similar, or different? Could I play one who's chosen to join with Guild Society, if I wanted? What ramifications should that have on my character? - Can every division undertake missions?
I understand that Guard and Medical division members can file Reports for incidents that have occurred in town, so long as they're within their duties, even if they aren't attached to explicit missions. But to me, The Guard and Medical divisions seem to have very passive roles, when compared to the Rescue and Exploration division. It seems to me like a member of those two divisions would have a hard time proactively choosing to do work for the guild, instead relying on the action of other players to create work for them. Could a Guard/Medic choose to undertake a mission meant for the others, or accompany a team of Explorers/Rescuers on more complicated missions that require a support role? Are there kinds of requests able to be taken that are specific to their duties? (A high profile injury, a mystery or egregious crime in town, a group of civilians who need to be kept safe as they travel to another location on continent, etc...) Could a character even join multiple divisions, if they were well suited to multiple roles? - Is it expected to start a character having already joined the guild?
I noticed that each division had an entrance test. Would it be fine to make a character who hasn't yet joined the guild and undertake that test?

Clarification on Lore, Rules, and Adaptation
Hi! Sorry for the vague, wordy title. I had a number of questions about the game that I was hoping to settle before making my first character.

Clarification on Lore, Rules, and Adaptation
No worries! These are all valid questions - and the more that are asked, the more I can add to rules pages in the future.
- The Sand Continent is available! The four continent bit is an error that I'll correct shortly.
- For the most part, move interpretations are up to the RPers - remember that our CRP rules are optional, unless there is a godmodding report or you are in an event. Move interpretations will be figured out with the community and logged somewhere in the future.
- Stats can be something you look at for character concepts if you'd like, but no, we don't have any mechanics that revolve around stats at this time. If you'd like, you can ignore them.
- Wild Pokemon are the sorts you find roaming around in Mystery Dungeons, or in unsettled places around the continent. You could very much have a character who is getting acquainted with society - indeed, we already have a character like that - and, for the moment, you're welcome to interpret this as you wish.
- Every division can undertake missions, yes! They aren't explicitly bound to their roles. However, they may be given duties specific to their roles in events. The divisions are there to provide a sort of motivation and way to progress that fits for your character. However, a character can only be in one division.
- You can have characters who have just recently joined the guild, most guild characters are already like this. I may get rid of the tests - they're just there for flavor.
